Pine Creek Valley has lots and lots of things to do. There is enough to keep you and your family busy, yet relaxed, for your entire vacation. For the sportsmen Pine Creek Valley is ideal for hunting, fishing, canoeing, rafting, skiing, biking and hiking. The winter months are focused on the area’s great snowmobiling, cross country skiing on the Rails to Trails, bear season along with deer season and the Christmas spirit of Dickens Day in nearby Wellsboro. Trout season starts in the beginning of spring along with fly-fishing, spring gobbler season, Memorial Day activities and the Slate Run Sportsmen’s Picnic. In the summer months, we send people down to Williamsport for the area’s largest fireworks display on July 4th and in August it’s time for Little League’s World Series. The fall brings the Slate Run Sportsmen’s Picnic leading into archery and turkey seasons, as well as the Apple Butter Festival in Waterville and the famous Flaming Foliage Festival in Renovo.

Fly fishermen can find equipment, supplies and expert advice directly across Pine Creek at the Slate Run Tackle Shop. In addition the Pine Creek Trail is open for bicyclists, hikers and cross country skiers year round. The Rails-to-Trails project currently runs for approximately 60 miles along Pine Creek including the PA Grand Canyon.

As you can see, we have something for everyone all year long at the Hotel Manor. Why not plan a trip here, Contact Us and enjoy yourself? You really will make a memory that lasts a lifetime.
